About Vaughan...

Vaughan is an English born writer, performer and film maker based in Hampshire, England. Formally trained as a decorative artist his work in theatre design led him to becoming involved in stage and screen performance. Whilst studying Creative Writing & Film Studies he began producing adaptations from existing fiction as well as original works for film and live performance. Following a successful film festival run with his screen adaptation of a monologue from Shakespeare’s Richard II, he has recently completed a film version of his first short play, The Castle Keep, which is on the film festival circuit. His current project is a film adaptation of one of his own short stories, Joshua Ward House. An 18c mansion built on the foundations of the home of George 'The Strangler' Corwin, the High Sheriff who oversaw the torture and execution of accused witches in the Salem trials of 1692-3.
